To actively engage with Local and Provincial authorities to enhance and protect required service delivery standards and sound governance of the assets of all ratepayers. To be the activists for the protection of George ratepayers’ interests.

Meet The Executive Council

Chairman - Jacques Wessels

Meet Jacques Wessels, Chair of the George Ratepayers Association, with a sustainable economic & property development background with a passion to contribute to a sustained quality of life for all communities within the greater George. 

Vice Chairman - Theo Burrows

Meet Theo Burrows, a Contentious Tax Advisor who is passionate about George being a city where all who live here have equitable access to the resources we need to attain sustainable livelihoods. He believes prioritising spatial justice is essential to ensure a sustainable future for George. 

Treasurer - Dirk Stander

Member - Johan Steyn

Meet Johan Steyn, a businessman specialising in commercial law and finances. What I want to see in all spheres of Government is: honesty, integrity, transparency and responsible governance.
